A
record SIX Indian B-Schools would be receiving their international
accreditation at the Accreditation Council for Business Schools
& Programmes (ACBSP) annual conference in Baltimore on June
15-18, 2012 taking the tally of ACBSP schools in India to SEVEN,
the largest by any international accreditation agency. As part of
the annual
conference, Standards for Educational Advancement & Accreditation
(SEAA) Trust, New Delhi, India in association with ACBSP
Region 10 would be holding an International Mentors Meet. There
would be a large number of Indian speakers at the Conference emphasizing
on the need to go for international accreditation to build Global
Peer Reviewed quality. SEAA would also be taking out a Tour of Internationally
Accredited Business Schools on June 18 & 19, 2012 from Baltimore.

T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal has become
an Accredited school of AACSB, world's oldest and most
respected Accreditation agency. Considered as Gold Standard
in Accreditation, the AACSB stamp puts TAPMI
in a global league of school which count. This would
be the second school in India to be accredited by AACSB,
the first one being Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.

World Summit of National Board of Accreditation (NBA)
of Government of India, held in New Delhi between March
25-28, in association with a number of leading institutions
including SEAA Trust has set a new agenda requiring the
nearly 10,000 higher professional education institutions
of the country to shift to "outcome" based assessment
rather than "input" based assessment which may
align India with the global education convergence agencies
