T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal has become an Accredited school of AACSB, world's oldest and most respected Accreditation agency. 1st World Summit of National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of Government of India, held in New Delhi between March 25-28, in association with a number of leading institutions including SEAA Trust has set a new agenda requiring the nearly 10,000 higher professional education institutions of the country to shift to "outcome" based assessment rather than "input" based assessment which may align India with the global education convergence agencies like The Washington Accord. An accreditor of accrediting agencies of America, CHEA is the Regulator ensuring the quality of higher professional education. The agency has recognised AACSB, ACBSP and IACBE. An independent organisation promoting quality the PRME is committed to inspire and champion responsible management education, research and thought leadership globally.
The European Union initiated quality management process in Higher Professional Education to help student mobility and employability.
The initiative is to bring together peer institutions to initially exchange information and knowledge about International Accreditation and help mutually in going through the process and maintaining the accredited school status.(more)
